Trail access and parking is available in two parking areas on Third Street, near Yough River Park. In the early 1900s, Connellsville was king of coal mining and coke production. The industry was so lucrative that Connellsville once boasted more millionaires than any U.S. city of its size. The trail follows streets through Connellsville’s west side, formerly the town of New Haven and now a business district that contains a bike shop, a B&B, and other retail.
